gordonjb 10,860 Posted October 15, 2008 The final native orchid to bloom for the season here in the northernhemisphere. Thanks for any constructive comments. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted October 16, 2008 I can not "pass" near one of yours natural ones and not enjoy their beauty, their form. The grayish /green BG is like telling the viewer, look at me now.... the season of my beauy is nearly over.... simple and delicate. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted October 16, 2008 The belle of the ball, in all her finery. The softness here speaks loudly. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted October 18, 2008 Pnina; As always thanks for your interest in my orchid photos. Whenever I work on one of these or post it you are always in my thoughts. I liked the faded tones of the dying grasses. These little girls are so easily upstaged that I wanted a subtle background so they could shine. Jeff; Thank you kind sir. You are the other half of my native orchid appreciation group. Between Pnina and yourself, a finer group I could not ask for. Softness seems to suit these ladies, thanks for letting me know you feel the same. Dror; Thank you for sharing such a succinct and beautiful response. Link to comment
