steve_lowther 0 Posted November 18, 2008 Here again, I think some dodging of highlights in the shadow side of her hair and of her eyes would be a proper enhancement. We might consider deepening the background on her right. In the next image, her clothing goes well with the background. But in this image I think it is out of key. If she were wearing something darker, approaching her skin tone with the background deeper tones so the lightest part of the image was the left side of her face, then you would have a really superb low key portrait. You are really getting to know light! The light here is a masterful rendering of classic short light because the shadow side of her face is towards the camera. Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted November 18, 2008 Another useful (and humbling) critique... Thanks Steve, once again. This shot was very impromptu. She was just heading back to her house when I 'saw' the shot just before she walked through her door. I asked her to turn around, had my assistant throw some light with a white reflector and this was the result :) Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted December 16, 2008 Please critique this for me. Lighting is from a white reflector, camera right. Link to comment

william brown 0 Posted December 17, 2008 Beautiful expression on the model Mark. However i think an overall darking of the image would greatly enhance her skin. Overall the image is a little flat.I hope this helps. Link to comment
