Beautiful mood captured here. I liked the hazy scene, the reflections and faint colours in this photograph. Congrats.

This isn't what I think of when I think of Alabama! Thanks for sharing. Again, awfully busy, but again very attractive for its muted colors and light with palpable emotion or mood. I look forward to more shots from down by the water, Lesa, as it's obviously rich with great photographic potential, especially as you take advantage of moody light.

Thanks Ruud, Tim and Sachin for the comments. Tim, this was taken back in the spring time, you know cool mornings, warm land and water=foggy conditions. Again, I agree with you about busy scene, but there is just no way to convey the scene and mood sometimes, without including the "extras"... I have found this is one of my favorite images, and I think it is because of the red boat. The red color adds turmoil and interest to an otherwise "blah" scene. Thanks again to everyone....regards.....LJ

I like the calm and tranquil mood, I just wish it was not so busy. I know that's the way fishing ports are, always very messy! Maybe you can crop out the boat on the right and some of the stuff on the right foreground.

Come on LJ... you like that boat because it's Bammer Red :-)

However, in spite of that I do like the capture and recognize too that fishing harbors are innately tight and busy, so that doesn't bother me. An excellent foggy, peaceful scene with great reflections and exposure; ok, and the red does just set this off perfectly!
