eddie m. 0 Posted October 14, 2008 The shot is great, but did you use the grain filter or you just gave it more brightness? 'Cause it kinda messed up the image's quality... Link to comment
jpo3136b 0 Posted October 14, 2008 The quality did drop during post-process. The original file looks much smoother. I reviewed it straight from camera on a larger-sized television, and it looked great. For some reason, after import, I picked up more noise. I will need to tinker with it. I'm thinking of trying to use the larger file to build a digital poster, or re-shoot in film and enlarge. I appreciate your candor. I'm going to need to do more research on the conversions. J. GerrySiegel 868 Posted December 26, 2009 I like this in its black and white stronger contrast incarnation, John. Idea of the parabolas of water in the foreground make a great introduction to the light display of the bridge night lights and the watery reflections. Definitely worth a return trip, even beyond the other shots in your gallery to fool around thereabouts. It has fine strong desig elements that would be worth exploring even more than you have, this interesting bridge and the surrounds... Wishing you well in your journey in the photo world like all of us... gs Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted August 5, 2010 John, I like this shot, not sure why. There are some very nice things happening with the overall piece. - Charles Link to comment
museebfoto 2 Posted March 31, 2011 Great use of shutter speed. Yes, it has some noise but however it is very nice and beautiful capture. Link to comment
