OK, I give up! Where is this really? I don't recognize these buildings. Those signs don't look like NYC street signs somehow. And 44th street doesn't end like this as far as I know except at the Pan Am building. Is this a montage?

the only thing I have done is changed the hue and saturation.maby some of you Newyork city guys can through a light on where it is.By the by,this is the greatest city I have ever been to.The people where so freindly and helpfull. I must get back .Took loads of pictures and just starting to put them on now
