Tim, you have drunk the lefty koolaide. Do some research into the push by the dems to loan mortgage money to people who could not afford to pay it back. Now we all get to pay. This is disrespectful of the symbol of freedom. I hope you just found it.

Roy, I think you are kidding yourself if you think this whole financial mess was caused by Democrats or Republicans. Both parties contributed more than their fair share and are equally culpable in my opinion. Throw in deregulation, lack of regulation and greed by people up and down the chain and you have a disaster. You are wasting your time sermonizing to me about the flag, I did my time in the Marines in 69 and 70 and know what the flag is how it should be treated. Other wise, I enjoyed your comment.

Thanks for serving. Does that make this display any less disrespectful? I agree that the Republicans failed to follow through on the findings of a hearing into the risk of loan practices promoted by Fannie and Freddie and lauded by Dem members of the committee for making it possible for unqualified (otherwise) borrowers to get mortagages backed by F & F. Look it up. I blame the Republicans for wimping out and not acting forcefully to reform these abominations for fear of being called racists. Please define "greed" for me, too. Am I greedy for buying a lottery ticket?

 

I support your right to do this kind of picture and I can see that you are an accomplished photographer. Since you are a Marine, I know you can take the flak. Best wishes and I hope you get squared away about the nature of the cause, in its specific details, about the crisis we are in. Hint: a government program, bragged about by Dems, gone malignant.
