This (the larger one, in fact) is a beautiful image, bordering on abstract. The sense of empty space is immense...

Tim... A follow up note. The link you gave does show a much more vivid image with beautiful light, but not so much different from the "view larger" here on PN. I think most of the muddy light is in the small thumbnail, but you know, it still caught my attention, even small... Good shot! Mike

 

 

I've been discussing that with some of the site moderators, apparently there were some discrepancies in the sizes after re-uploading and that was causing some of the muddiness. Thanks for stopping by again!

The current image is now showing (at least to me, finally) what I expect it to. Thanks to the moderators for helping me through this.

Has to be seen large ! the scene of space, texture of earth, and the lonely tree are very well seen and executed. The light coming gradually from the L, are creating soft shadows, Very nice color palette and composition.

Love this work, simple and perfect.

Wonderfull composition, your image conveys a sense of the unknown.It's surprising how one part of an image can completely change how the image is perceived. The lines of the road & fields all converge at the tree & the tree becomes the focal point.You feel as if it is the end of the road.Now, move the tree & the road & fields fade into an undefined horizon.Regards-Ross P.S.
