jbidarra 0 Posted October 12, 2008 Interesting composition and use of colors integrated inside the composition. The vision and the humor are of course and as usual your trademark. Regards. Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted October 13, 2008 I get the refernce to the fire hydrant. Classic Dave Meyer humor. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted October 13, 2008 I join Gord's smile! it is so typical David Meyer wonderful melange....;-)) and an eye to see it ! you and Jack always made me smile... thanks for that! Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 13, 2008 This works almost as a pure abstract, perhaps a Miro of the streets with its isolated shapes and it's vivid splashes of color. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 16, 2008 Wonderful feel to this one. Sort of midway between a storybook illustration and an on-the-spot street scene. The density of color and the bright white of the central arrow sign are strong indeed. The woman, dressed in purple, standing, observing, adds a nice touch. The snippet of the red truck very effective, the red on the truck almost as if you've colored it in. Great perspective and very much a David Meyer vision. Congrats. Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted October 16, 2008 The red elements create an interesting triangle that engage the viewer effectively. I also find that the drawing of the dog and the woman standing symbolize two realities that coexist in the same dimension adding an interesting element to the composition. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted October 16, 2008 I've been engulfed in family matters and related travel for the last several weeks. So I have had to abbreviate my time on Pnet. Thus I will merely thank all of you for the great and supportive comments. I expect to be back home in ten days, at which time I'll try to get caught up. Link to comment

bosshogg 4 Posted October 22, 2008 Thanks my friend. I've been having to deal with some personal family matters lately, and have not been able to spend my usual amount of time on Pnet learning from my peers. When I get back home I'll be sure to check out what you have been up to. Link to comment
radioactive 0 Posted October 23, 2008 Another great back street kind of bar / dive. I love these places. I wonder what I would have to do to get in the dawg house. The colloquial art on the door is fantastically pedestrian and absolutely would draw me into the fine establishment for a refreshing imbibement of an amaretto shot and a cold beer. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted November 20, 2008 It will probably be no surprise to you but I enjoy the jump from one color spot to the next in this image...it's a bit like hopscotch...you jump you stop, you jump you watch...and so on... Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 21, 2008 I've heard so little from you lately. I must go see if you've been up to any of your wild shenanigans. Thanks amigo. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 21, 2008 Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I know it is a lot busier than your style with a lot going on. I'm just not too subtle lately. Maybe in 2009. ;) Link to comment

bosshogg 4 Posted December 12, 2008 You've been MIA in general. Well, it ain't Seattle is it? lol I don't know that you will read this, but I've recommended to several folks the book called, "The Oxford Project." It was done in this town, and I think you might enjoy it immensely. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 30, 2008 Very well seen, David. Neat composition and great use of color as well. I like the woman observing you quietly behind that car. Good job here! Link to comment
