jtipton 0 Posted October 12, 2008 Hi All, Hope your well and having a great weekend. Actually only used one shot for the Rock. This thing is actually a huge butte that sits in the bottom of the coulee. It was formed during the ice age when Lake Missoula (which was formed by glacier ice damns) flooded the Northwest and specifically eastern Washington state. I did use a sky from an older image. It was actually a crystal clear day. I think the reason it turned out a little dark is due to the circular polarized filter I used. It was still early morning and maybe wasn't neccesary. Thanks to all for your comments and ratings.Best Wishes-Jim Link to comment

life-in-perspective 0 Posted October 13, 2008 Very good panorama view. I prefer it to be slightly more brighter. Regards. Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted October 18, 2008 Never been here......it's really a great scene. I like the use of pano for this, and you're getting to be an ace at combining images. The sky looks totally like it was really like that! Good job! I agree that if you were to brighten up the left end of the butte and perhaps the water, it would have more 'life' to the image.
