Bulent, For me the emotion of this image would have been increased by framing out the ship in the background. Without it she would be completely alone.JP

Juan, a group from New Zealand was also around. Coming from the other side of the world to get the feeling...

John, since this particular piece of land had been heavily beaten by The British and The French fleet, I imagined a connection between the woman, the ship and the bird above. Leaving her alone could have been better, I think, if the place had no particular history.

I have nothing to add to the above other than to say I hadn’t noticed this picture until now but it is really, clearly, a picture that must be noticed.
