lesa jones 0 Posted October 10, 2008 And, this is how summer's done ---"southern" style. I know Jeff Foxworthy could find a joke in here somewhere. My redneck buddies are so much fun! Link to comment
Alex 0 Posted October 10, 2008 This is such a great shot. I love how the guys are trully doing teir stuff not being bother or posing for the shot (very natural) Also you got that hoese shoe perfectly. Great exapmple of good photography you've pressed the shutter release at the perfect moment. Congratulations Link to comment
lesa jones 0 Posted October 10, 2008 Thanks Alex...your right, they were totally involved in what they were doing, and I just got luck with the timing of the shot.. Thanks for the comment.....regards...LJ Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted October 11, 2008 I liked most the "natural", "unposed" look and the men's disconnectedness to the photographer... I only wished we could see the target as well... Regards, Link to comment
lesa jones 0 Posted October 11, 2008 Thanks Bulent, I agree, I wish I could have included the "target" as well, however I had to zoom in a good bit in order to get the shot, therefore no target. Thanks so much for stopping by, I appreciate the comment.....regards...LJ Link to comment
terrygilroy 0 Posted October 11, 2008 Great informal shot, the tins of beer make it. I hope that you rembered to duck, regards Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 14, 2008 Lesa: Congratulations on such a fine capture. Very effective elements - the horseshoe appearing suspended in air, the color contrasts, the subtlety of the water and the trees, the textures, etc. IMHO, referring to the target is moot. The only way you could have photographed the target would have been from a very different vantage point. This would have resulted in a very different photograph. P.S. Thanks for your recent visit and your comments. My best, michael Link to comment
ricardovaste 0 Posted October 15, 2008 Lesa, first off thank you kindly for your detailed feedback on my photo - much appreciated :-). Secondly, I really like this recent shot of yours. It's a great "window" into someones lifestyle and environment. I too like how natural the image seems and how we are presented with three very different characters. I'll take a proper look over all your shots soon, you seem like an interested fellow photog :-). Warm regards, Rich Link to comment
