belenalvarez 0 Posted October 11, 2008 A mi esta me encanta, con apenas la nota de color azul del portatil y ese fondo de pared la encuentro sensacional. Link to comment
luisarguelles 0 Posted October 11, 2008 A capture made in Santiago de Compostela (Spain). I'm a "black & white" guy, so I'm experimenting with joining the plasticity of color with the flavor of black & white film. Thanks for your time. Link to comment
ashleypomeroy 1 Posted December 16, 2012 Well, it's pretty poor. On a technical level the shutter speed was too low, and the selective colour treatment looks awful and doesn't make any sense. But that's just detail, it's unimportant compared to the art, and in this case there's no emotional content, no feeling, no character. It's just a slightly creepy candid shot of a nobody looking at a lot of icons on their laptop. There's no connection with the subject on any level. The composition is awkward, and my eyes keep drifting towards the paper towel dispenser. I can't think of any great photographs that used a paper towel dispenser as a major compositional element, and this isn't the first. It doesn't even work as voyeuristic pornography. Link to comment
