Oh my gosh, this is funny. I was actually taking some pictures of my goats today, they were trying to eat my camera bag, they will put their mouths on anything.

Oh my...this is a wonderful image.

If there was snow in the shot, this would be a classic "Don't put your tongue on that!" shot. People have told me in the past, that this is either a salt or sweetness attraction, (otherwise, I don't really want to know what's going on :) )

Hi Christal- This is really a cool shot. Thanks for the comment on Signs of the Equinox. That was a great day. I think 8 pics came out of that jaunt. One of those magic days. How's you get so close to this guy? If this was a telephoto you sure can't tell. Jim

This was on the Hidden Lake Trail at Logan Pass in Glacier National Park. These mountain goats were used to being around people, and they mingled in and around us. This guy really wanted THIS spot on the fence. He nearly pushed me out of the way.....so I was really close to him....perhaps 8 feet. They weren't begging for food either, which surprised me. Glad you like this one!
