Very interesting lighting. To make it stronger or even dominant and emphasise rays, I would consider converting the image into BW.

Very nicely done.. Have to get up early and wait for just the right moment for shots as well done as this one.

Marek- thank you for the hint with the BW conversion. I will try it out. The only concern that I have is that the rays are also of a slightly different color compared to the surroundings, so after conversion in BW they may become less visible. Perhaps increasing the contrast will help here.

James- thank you for your kind words. Lukily it is autumn now, so the sun does not rise as early as in summer anymore. :-)
