cherlyn 1 Posted October 7, 2008 With a height of 169m/554ft (height of a 42 storey building), it is 34m/111ft taller than the BA London Eye, diameter is 150m. Duration of ride is 37 minutes. Comprises 28 fully air-conditioned and UV protected capsules that can comfortably carry 32 people each (max 36). Currently the tallest Flyer in the world, soon to be overtaken by Dubai, I think. Welcome on board :-) Link to comment

lizweisiger 0 Posted October 7, 2008 Cherlyn, I love the clear details and light use. I also like the perspective - it seems like the two structures are dangerously close together, which adds interest for me. Very neat image. We've seen nothing like this in my state of Virginia. Link to comment

katzpjs 50 Posted October 9, 2008 This is exceptionally nice! 7/7 I would have cropped it in such a way that the edge of the pole at the top left is removed from the image. (I think....) Link to comment
ingermargrete 0 Posted October 9, 2008 The composition is very nice, I also like the "hard" look and feeling to it, with all the steel and glass and monotone colors. Well done:) Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted October 9, 2008 Cherlyn, I regret that I when I used to visit Singapore in 1990s, these attractions were not there. Very good composition, exposure and light. I aspire to visit Singapore next year, to witness the pheenomenal changes taking place and meet you all there. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted October 9, 2008 hello Shawn, I did consider cropping away the steel pole but that would also crop away part of the bottom cabin, which doesn't sit right with me as I want to have a fuller & closer view of the cabin's interior, so I leave the pole as it is. Amal, you are welcome to visit Singapore & we are most happy to meet up with you. 20 years has seen Singapore undergone tremendous changes. Come & you will see. Link to comment
schneekranich 0 Posted October 10, 2008 Nice series! I like this one in particular for the friction/tension in it. Link to comment
