Happen to capture this shrimp boat heading out last night during sunset. I

was primarily working on some long exposure, but because I wanted the

boat to be recognizable, I had to sacrifice my intention.

My only suggestion is to crop a little from the left to eliminate the wedge of sky along the tree. Or maybe next time expand the view to give more room on that side. Also, I would prefer to see the top of the stump. The combination of the tangled roots, the boat, the sun, and the sky are very effective. Nice work.

Sunsets on the water can be very dramatic indeed. I love the colors you have in the sky.

Lesa, I also love the colours in the sky. You must of shot this at precisely the right moment, before the show begins to fade. I think the tangle of roots on the dead tree are also very interesting to look at. To my eye it would be great with just that, without the boat. Warm regards
