talescaper 0 Posted October 6, 2008 Well, I think it reaches for the idea you hint at in your title, but I personally think for the 'lonely horse' idea to really hit home, you'll need more negative space. A more extreme angle might help in this, especially if you don't have the luxury of taking a step back to improve your composition (which aside from the lack of negative space is very sufficient) I also think that especially the purity and brightness of some of the colours on the horse have a lot of potential, especially combined with the shadow. As silly as it sounds, these playthings can be just as amusing as they were when you fit in them when you can play around them with a camera. Have fun! Go wild! Link to comment

doug_gentry 0 Posted October 7, 2008 NIcely captured Jose. The shadow is a fine detail! Regards, Doug. Link to comment
newfocus 0 Posted October 7, 2008 I agree with the more negative space comment but I like it still and it caught my attention from the thumbnail. The comp and angle of the shadow work well otherwise though. Link to comment
florainer 0 Posted October 7, 2008 i also agree with the negative space comment, this is exactly what i was referring to at the other shot. Link to comment
janc 0 Posted October 7, 2008 Thanks a lot friends for your constructive critiques. Sander, Arturo, Doug, John, Albi, Florian. It was shot in front of my house and after have looked at it many times this is the only POV that I found worth to shoot, there are other pieces near the little horse and it was important to have it alone so it is almost imposible to get more space. Best regards. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 8, 2008 Brilliant! That blue is so alive you feel like you could grab that handle and lift the horse right out of the picture. Your photography is inspiring as always. Link to comment
