blue-olympus 0 Posted October 6, 2008 Great panoramic view, nice gap in the foreground for us to wander into. Truly a wonderful natural scene. One thing though Jim...it's maybe a touch too much red ..I know it's an Autumnal scene but have a look again and see what you think.. Take care mate..Regards Link to comment

elportebonheur 0 Posted October 6, 2008 Great autumn scenery and mood, Jim. But - as Keith says - a little overdone in processing. However, nice proposal. Link to comment
milena_safrova 0 Posted October 6, 2008 Nice autumn scenery with very attractive light. I do no mind the reds but I would perhaps slightly reduce the dark blacks - but it is only my view, it is a matter of personal taste. Very well executed panarama Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted October 10, 2008 I love the composition; and as Keith said, the channel in the FG provides a great lead-in. I don't know that the HDR helped you here though, your shadows are blocked pretty strongly with no detail. If you have a couple of images, you might be better off just blending and using layer masks. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
jtipton 0 Posted October 10, 2008 Hi Chris- Your right about the foreground. The sun had already dropped pretty low when I shot this. I tried a few different ways to rescue the shadows with no luck. Really what I needed was a little more light in the foreground. Perhaps a little earlier would have been the ticket. Jim Link to comment
ronda 0 Posted October 10, 2008 The shadows maybe alittle deep emphasizing the suns position, the reds can actually be this red in this part of the country. This is a great picture and as said above would look great hanging above the fireplace with a gun on racks between it and the mantle or above the picture. Very nice work! Link to comment
