jkilgo 0 Posted October 5, 2008 Beautiful portrait...I really like the soft lighting with the deep shadows...I'm curious to know if this is natural light are soft strobes? Either way great job lighting this portrait...the small details are very good...the highlights on her lips, and on her hand. Beautiful smile and great job connecting to the viewing with her eyes. The composition/crop is very nice and really adds character and interest to this image. Well done overall. Link to comment
tore 10 Posted October 5, 2008 Thanks, there is a flash in this shot, but I am not sure if it was a strip light on it ore a beauty dish, the wind was a problem this day and I changed light modification from the whether conditions. Best regards Tore Link to comment

o.bilge 0 Posted October 7, 2008 Very good portrait.. Only problem is the background(wooden part). If it had a light color, it would add some more value to the picture.. congrats.. O.B. Link to comment
John Peri 1,033 Posted October 7, 2008 Well beyond the perfection in technique, there is an amazing personality captured in this image. A superb portrait from every perspective, I love it. Link to comment
erik skaar photography 0 Posted October 8, 2008 I agree with just about everyone that this is a lovely portrait. However, if I might offer one small critique in that I think the retouching on the skin has been a bit overdone, particularly under the eyes. I realize that there is need to diminish wrinkles and dark circles that most everyone has under their eyes but removing them altogether makes the model seem to 'plastic', in my opinion. I can also see some artifacts from retouching on the camera left cheek. Or it could just be compression artifacts. Anyway, just my two cents. A lovely portrait that could be made even lovelier with a few minor fixes. Best, Erik Link to comment
