Hey Gunnar, this is a striking image, great detail and well composed subject. I think a crop up from the bottom, say 1/3 of the way up to the shack would place the viewer immediately into the scene, just an objective observation. The sky is perfect and the subtle fall colors jump out because of the warm light. I like this going into my Favorites folder!
