mike_stemberg 40 Posted October 4, 2008 A classic 'seascape' here! ..but on a critique tone, what bothers me, that is if I let it get to me would be the amount of whiteness' around the central rock especially, but this does not ruin my enjoyment of what remains an excellent exposure. danbliss 0 Posted October 5, 2008 Thank you Ali, Gallego, and Mark. I appreciate your comments. Mark, to be honest, I liked the white around the rocks, maybe I got it wrong. Thank you for your comments. Dan Link to comment

gordonjb 10,860 Posted October 9, 2008 I also like the whiteness surrounding the rocks. It makes a nice contrast to the actual rocks and it is still suffused with enough detail that I image it prints well. Having spent a bit of time trying to emulate this type of shoreline landscape photography over the summer has further reinforced my deep appreciation for seeing it done well... and this is most certainly done very well. Keeping with the skipping stones analogy, I like that the fourth stone out in the line is only perceived by the waves around it, thus giving the impression that the stone has run its course and having lost inertia has sunk below the surface. llgarcia 1 Posted October 21, 2008 A long exposure that softens the water and the clear sky concentrates the viewer to the stones which you entitled adequately. Great concept, great image, Dan Link to comment

ewert02 0 Posted December 15, 2008 Beautiful black and white conversion here. The long exposure has given the water a really, really nice look and the contrast is about perfect. Very nicely done. Daniel Link to comment
