davidclapp 0 Posted October 3, 2008 Moonlit night in Cornwall at Lanyon Quiot, you may have seen the post I made a last week from a different angle. It was a beautiful night, cool air, mist and a strong full moon. These situations have to be grabbed immediately as the following night is never the same. Many thanks to everyone for all the discussion on the last image, its always a pleasure to read comments. Photographing moonlight gives many mixed opinions. I have just givien up on trying to get my head around it. The camera pulls images that look like daylight, far from what you expect, but its exciting work, still and errie, magical too. tim_donnelly 0 Posted October 4, 2008 The rocks stand out so strong against the night sky...nicely painted as well. Beautiful result David...Nice one. Link to comment
newfocus 0 Posted October 4, 2008 I like the use of natural light here and the fact that the faint patch of cloud top right just adds a little interest to that space. Nicely colour balanced too IMO - not always easy with night shots. cheers, John Link to comment
clark_crosby 0 Posted October 5, 2008 Outstanding! Is that really the Drinkin' Gourd (Big Dipper) over the monument? If so, a masterpiece of foresight, scouting and planning, not to mention luck with the weather! What a disappointment if it is just photoshopped. Link to comment
