Bonny Girl in Bonnie's Scarf / One Day Muse

 

This is one of the few images I have posted where the critiques are not too important to me. (I like the image!) That said, if you see anything wrong or something you would have done differently, let me know.

well, as a newcomer in this site it is the first one of yours I see, and i'm realy impressed by the way you find the limit not to fall in overdone comercial but unpersonal images, and the real personal portrait.

Very fine composition, colour management and control of the light.

This my dear friend is spectacular. I am very happy that the muse phenomenon has hit you as well. In addition I might mention that the image stands beautifully as a portrait as well as a fashion image. the composition is perfect and the diagonal works well. The colors pop.

Piet, Your comment means a lot to me. This is a very personal image. The reasons for it being personal are not what you might think. I only met this girl on the day this was taken. That said, I had hoped to show the communication between the model and photographer. From your comment I can tell that I achieved that. Thanks a lot.

 

Owen, I did consider it a portrait more than a fashion shot, however I already posted a picture of the young lady in the portraits section. I am sure to add more photos of her later. The 'one day muse' phenomenon is difficult to explain but I feel you do understand it. I certainly hope that I can photograph her again in the future. Thanks!

Beautiful model and great use of lighting. The pink colour of the scarf works very well. I would give some more space on the left side avoid cropping half of her right hand. Congrats.

The cropped hand is something that bothers me. I fear when photographing this girl I was so captivated by her eyes and beauty that I lost the place when photographing her. Thanks a lot.
