godfather 0 Posted October 1, 2008 Well done with the speed of shutter. Like the motion and the compostion of the light looks great. Warmth of the lights gives very cosy feeling. Link to comment

hanna_cowpe 0 Posted October 5, 2008 Liz, I like this alot because it presents itself both as an abstract and as a subject. There is just enought detail to make it identifiable on closer inspection, yet also has lovely light, movement and composition to be viewed at a glance. I wish it was a little wider but I assume you had a reason for cropping it. There is a fine regular pattern that runs through the image and I'm curious to know whether it is PS or something else. Any clues? Link to comment
bartimeus1 0 Posted October 6, 2008 At first, thank you for the comments, again! I`ve managed to miss both of the times when those images were at the front page. Last time I was at a Christian artistic camp for young people of our area. Actually, I was one of the leaders of the camp, I`m not that young anymore. :-) Then to this one: Absolutely marvellous abstract and a fiery image! I can sense that this was the thing that you mentioned in the text, otherwise I`d say that this comes from a large bonfire. Your ability to create fine abstracts and photo-paintings is so admirable. You wrote so politely that you envy my PS-technology. Thank you so much. I must admit that I`m rather clumsy with the PS. That image was sharpened, tones were checked and then it was framed. :-) I love to shoot such reed-photos, backed with the blurred setting of the sun. Somehow I`m that kind of romantic fool. :-) With warm greetings to you, my dear friend, Alpo Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted October 7, 2008 Thank you all for taking the time to stop by and comment. I used a little PS work, canvas texture, to make this seem more like a painting, and not a slow shutter work of a fair ride. I had fun fixing up this shot, but I did have to crop etc. to get it right. Too many lights and distractions were captured. Link to comment
