doug_gentry 0 Posted September 30, 2008 Simple and easy, and I like the soft framing! Well done! Regards, Doug. Link to comment
jkilgo 0 Posted October 2, 2008 Nice compliment to the previous portrait with this model. Great Rembrandt lighting, you have an uncanny knack of getting the highlights and shadows in the right place inspite of the model's pose angle...great job. This one obviously has a totally different feel than the previous post, but it still has an elegant simplicity that holds my interest. I really like her soft pose and demure expression. rascal64 9 Posted October 3, 2008 Thank you ! My uncanny ability? Jeff...you flatter me. I have a couple of light set ups that I favor...mainly one angled softbox (sometimes a bit of fill too) but there are always a few shots that don't work because of the exaggerated light that I like. It's a fine line that I haven't completely figured out yet...in terms that make sense to me. Link to comment
david shelby 0 Posted October 6, 2008 Hi Tiffany, Beautiful image. I also have and use a couple of soft boxes, or large umbrella's for portraits. I have barn door's or snouts that I use for a little backlighting. One other really neat tool is a couple of Sliders with I can move up and down to enhance or reduce the lights being used during the shoot. They are fun to play with and can really bring the light and shadows to your creative preference.. Plus they are not expenseve. "smiles" Link to comment
