I love railroads. This one looks abstract. Nice shot

This is an excellent composition, and could have worked as an abstract piece in itself cropped under the pathway.

 

But having the two persons, the first one at least looking old and needing a walking stick, lost in the middle of the complexity of the tracks, and therefore complexity of the composition, really gives a frightening feeling to the whole situation

Nice. I particularly like the slight tilt that gives the impression that these women are teetering downhill. A lovely piece.

What an excellent composition! I love railroads and railroad tracks, but it seems to be so difficult to get a new take on such an old subject. Your use of depth, viewpoint and the people in the scene, even the choice to keep it in color and not convert to B&W really makes this one stand out. Wonderful piece of artwork, congrats!
