Nice capture/rendition to an "English Impressionism" look and feel. Well done.

A couple of things to consider... are you sure you want to leave as much of the bright strip on top? (It tends to compete for attention with the kayaks) Also... I would probably enlarge the Kayaks by ~25% ...but that would be my taste. This probably looks fine in a very large size print.

 

That's a much better sky Jim. I would agree with an earlier comment that reducing the sky a bit, and enlarging the kayakers would improve the image a bit. Mighty fine as it is though.
