wolfgangarnold 142 Posted September 26, 2008 Lighting (low sun, cloudy) was difficult and original has rather flat and dark plants in the foreground. I went through several steps of sharpening (the wall) and adjusting tonal values of green to get more 'texture' to foreground and wall. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted October 25, 2011 Very beautiful B/W and Sepia landscape where the textures of the green plant are very well made. I would have faded somewhat the sharpening of the stonewall which in my eyes has been overdone. Link to comment
wolfgangarnold 142 Posted October 25, 2011 many thanks for your constructive comment on this (so far neglected ;-)) photo. You have a point concerning sharpness of the wall - my intention was to emphasize the wall (as opposed to the 'sea' of shrubbery it's cutting through) - but looking at my photo conciously after some time, I'd agree to your proposal.Best regards, Wolfgang Link to comment
