johncrosley 0 Posted September 26, 2008 Aging has not taken away the ability of this pleasant woman to blush a little bit out of embarrassment -- something I found rather charming and hope I captured here. dara 0 Posted September 28, 2008 Very good shot of real instances in time. You have captured her expression and the essence of her noble character very well. I think you took this shot very fast like Robert Capa. Excellent photography...regards Link to comment
johncrosley 0 Posted September 29, 2008 Well, Dara, you are correct, this was taken quickly. I was moving and so was she (see blur in her right hand -- on our left). And I did indeed catch 'a moment'. She really is a 'beautiful' woman -- noble if you will. I'm happy this photo pleases you; I like it very much. I wondered whether to retouch her rotting teeth but decided against it. They are there, caries and all. I think her expression carries all. Cartier-Bresson admired Capa as a great photographer-adventurer, but I don't think he would admire me, regrettably. Thanks for letting me know your thoughts, I appreciate it, especially the flattering comparison. John (Crosley) Link to comment
