awaraagard 0 Posted September 26, 2008 thank you for feed back and noticing COLOR in my work. it is actually the color which impresse me more than anything. i yearn to make B&W and SEPIA and MONOTINES and tried very sincerely but somehow could never do it! me and my work is all about COLOR. wherever i see it, it just mesmerizes me! AFRICA in particular has a lot of COLOR, but there's always a sad story behind thin veneer of these glowing hues. i never fail to see a tired sadness peeping through it. this i notice in every face from Ethiopia to Congo [so far]. and this feeling makes COLORS OF AFRICA more lovable for me! i wish these people were not this much sad. i wish i could change something for them! regards! pnital 36 Posted September 26, 2008 Umair, it has beautiful colors, and very nice composition, timing , light and sharpness. You are right about a sadness in her face. I was in Africa( Kenya and Mali), and I felt sad to see how hard life can be in this side of the world. We as individual can do very little though., But each can do something in his own corner. awaraagard 0 Posted September 26, 2008 i admire your feelings for these people, and elsewhere. yes, i agree we can not be very effective on individual level but still we can stir a few hearts! and that's a significant part of this big job that lies ahead! regards! Link to comment
