wolfgangarnold 142 Posted September 24, 2008 The hand holding the bank note belongs to a boy buying 'poffertjes' -waiting anxiously to pay and get the desired sweets. It was fascinating to observe the interplay of his and the vendorshands while exchanging money and goods. Link to comment
Wouter Willemse 851 Posted January 19, 2013 Which reminds me, it's been ages I had poffertjes. Hmmmmm.... now I get hunrgy.I like what you tried to capture here, but feel the actual poffertjes are maybe too far out of focus to make obvious (without a need to explain) what is happening. As the photo is now, it's maybe just a bit too much of a puzzle. Link to comment
wolfgangarnold 142 Posted January 19, 2013 many thanks for all your recent comments. You've correctly identified the poffertjes - needless to say that this was in the Netherlands :-) (btw - not to make you evene more hungry - besides poffertjes I'm also always enjoying stroopwafels and vla when being there...).You have a point, that the "goods" are a bit too vague (or too far from focus) - I would have loved to have the poffertjes in the place of the grate - but probably for staying away from the heat the lady operating that stand collected the money at that side.Best regards,Wolfgang Link to comment
