I like the DOF of this photo. The only thing I would suggest is doing something with - is that her shoulder? It's a bit destracting.

Another great gemini kind of portrait. it works really well and show two different personalities, two different moods.

 

Now, beeing a very squared guy, I'm wondering what a square crop would look like on that photo : It looks like you could catch a great top left to bottom right diagonal which would actually catch the woman's right eye and get along the collar of the man's shirt. We may loose the trees in the background, which actually work well, so I don't really know what I'm speaking about, but I just wanted to spend some time looking at the photo, and writing seemed a great way to do that ;-)

 

 

I guess I could and should try to crop it in some and give it a more square crop. hmmm

 

I try and keep everything a bit more "normal" crop since they get sold.

Now that shoulder is bugging me too. :)

I think focusing on the face might be a good idea. :)
