dougityb 0 Posted September 23, 2008 based on an unscientific survey, this was deemed one of the better poses among others in the same folder. What's your opinion? Is it over- posed? Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted September 23, 2008 Very well composed. Great lighting and angle. I'm not sure I like the car in the background that has already passed her by. Great body language. 6/6 anonymous Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted September 23, 2008 Great pose, and I like the outdoors scene. Lose the red lights on the car. Link to comment
richard_cox2 0 Posted September 23, 2008 The car doesn't bother me as much as the telephone lines/poles. (Must have been a female driver to pass her by.) Beautiful model, pose, DOF and POV. Link to comment
mnelson 0 Posted September 23, 2008 I didn't vote cuz I was shy, but this is the one that I thought was the best. I like the tail lights of the car that just passed by. Makes you wonder who wouldn't stop to pick her up. She doesn't look dangerous... lol M Link to comment
MichaelChang 12 Posted September 24, 2008 "I'm not sure I like the car in the background that has already passed her by."Quick, Doug, add a couple of screeching tire tracks! :-) This was my favorite too. Hey, is that a tattoo? Did you really brand poor Britt? :-) Link to comment
danbliss 0 Posted September 24, 2008 I really like the pose and the expression. Nicely done. Dan Link to comment
mg 0 Posted September 25, 2008 Ahhhh, yes ! I like it. She's got a wonderful waist, and I'd definately stop and take her where she wants to go. :-) Cute expression too, and I like the car in the background... Just wondering whether this pix, where colors don't play a major role anyway, would not benefit from a good b&w conversion, so as to add mood and emphasize the story... Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted September 25, 2008 hmm, good question, and I'll investigate the possibilities, but the harmony between the sky and her clothing was very much appreciated when I began to edit the original exposures, although I reduced that harmony a bit in desaturating the clouds and asphalt. I think the blueness might add to the sense of loneliness that black and white might not convey, but then again...maybe not. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted September 25, 2008 Okay, she's just superhot. Forgive my saying that's what makes the shot. Now of course it's playing into male fantasy. Blonde hitchhiker in a tarty -but-clean outfit, no (visible) underwear, and a look and pose that says, "I'm Britt. Ride me wherever." And (this is a first for me) the thumb-hooked-in-the-jeans thing actually works here, because her look, while smokin', is not the conventional one. I might even suggest that there is a bit of Lolita-but-legal going on as well. (You might suggest I use too many hyphens.) Good eye, good processing. If it's a guy, he's backing up. :) Link to comment
