snapped at the perfect moment! i love the way the mantis is turned directly into the camera....beautifully composed. as said before....this image made me smile. very original in an endless sea of macro insect shots.

Perhaps a tad more room under the mantis and I would clone out the dot between the mantis's head and arms.

I am sure this mantis asking himself and says: "Am I look as a model? Why the do take photos for me? I am really surprised." Very stunning moments for shooting such photo and especially with the mantis face's expressions.
