Cute idea, Doug. It's a tossup between 3176 and 3126 because of the stopped cars (or car with brake-lights on). My pick would be 3126 for Brit's sassy pose.

Did anyone actually stop and exchange words with you and Brit?

Doug, first let me write that Brit is such a natural beauty, I guess nearly all frames of her are pleasing for the viewers eye :)

concerning your question, I like 3112 most because it's the best one in terms of pose, composition and lighting balance.hth, best wishes,

patrick

No one stopped to talk to me, Mike, but several cars honked, and one car full of guys did stop and ask Brit a few questions while I stood by like a dork. We made sure to pop her thumb out after any passing cars had already passed. I really like the curves taken by her body in 3126.

Thanks Patrick, yes, they're all so sweet. I can't decide, and she is very cute in a very Britt sort of way. I like 3112, too, because she's looks sort of naive and innocent about what she's doing.

3126

AND... my scroll wheel has a flat spot on it when I slammed on brakes!!

A classic cutie for sure... Mike

Interesting. I think I could remove some of those smaller vehicles, the ones that are further back in the composition. I wonder if anyone would notice if I did a bad job of it, too....

Doug:

You're really getting there with Brit...earlier portraits, while excellent and alluring, didn't reach their full potential ( as if I could have done better ). Here, you've produced a series of fashion photos which a magazine or catalog director would have trouble choosing among.

I like less contrived poses...while 3126 could easily appear in Victoria's Secret, as a pure portrait, I prefer 3176 or 3112. The DoF is extremely well managed, and while full length portraits tend to have less dramatic impact unless all the elements are gotten precisely right...well, you got them all right. The powers that be even gave you a beautiful sky, both contrasting with and complimenting smoothly and with subliminal effect the model's coloration, and her costume.

Extraordinarily well done. 7/7

Does she still need a ride...and is she over 18?

No worries on this one, Craig. She's on the right side of the statute. I'm glad you noticed the complimentary nature of the colors. The clouds in the original capture had a distinct blue tint, probably because I had the white balance set wrong, but it was exciting to see how everything harmonized. I tried to reduce that tint, and a similar tint in the asphalt, during post processing. I like the position and presence of the cars, in terms of story and placement, in 3126, and 3176, but I agree the taillights might be better unlit.

Wow, I think they all are very nice. Maybe it's because Blue is my favourite color, but I like the strong sense of blue in the clouds as a background to Brit's Eyes, her jeans, and her top.

I think that 3112 and 3126 stand out because of the way Brit positions her feet. She expresses very well from head to toe in all these shots, but particularly in those two. In 3126 Brit's twist of her body is perfect, accentuating the slimness of her waist and her pleasing curves. If this was a shoot for a magazine the Photo editor would pick 3126 for the cover.

As for the Power lines, they are part of the environment and the Photographer has done well to minimize them in these shots.

As for the Cars...well I barely noticed them, but it's too bad an exotic convertible wasn't cruising past just then
