guillelobera 0 Posted September 22, 2008 The Cloister of the Barcelona Cathedral dates from the 14th century and has 13 geese, one for each year in the life of the Santa Eulalia (a Christian martyr tortured and killed by the Romans). It is considered, that the geese protect rest of the solvent townspeople buried near to the Cathedral. The Cloister has a delightful garden with a little pond, fountain, magnolias and orange and palm trees. Link to comment
