paolo de faveri 1 Posted September 22, 2008 Cala della Torre is just one among the many wonderful small bays you can find along the portion of rocky coast of the Cap Corse between the small villages of Barcaggio and Macinaggio. The reason of the name is quite obvious as Cala della Torre simply means Tower's Bay, from the old Genovese guard tower that dominates the coast from the top of a ridge. I have been the witnees here, a couple of weeks ago, of a true nature show, as while the sun was slowly setting behind me, a large front was fastly approaching the coast from the open sea. The presence of a very collaborative seagull and a large passenger ship crossing the scene on the horizon had been the final touch. Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time. Details: Eos 400D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, ND 4 x solid, GND 8x soft, tripod Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted September 22, 2008 Lovely colours and I like how the clouds above seem to be moving opposite to both the rocks and waves below -- its a very nice juxtaposition. Very nice. Link to comment
