ricardovaste 0 Posted September 22, 2008 Revisited location from last year. Not too sure which were batter to be honest. Sadly, these bails only sat in the field for one evening & the sky didnt offer anything really interesting, but I did what I could with what was there i think... It will certainly be useful for my art project atleast. Used an A700, with the 24-85RS @ f/11 & ISO200, handheld with SSS, used a GND filter too. Any comments welcome. Hope you like. Many thanks for looking, Rich Link to comment
maurocarli 0 Posted September 23, 2008 Nice shot, Richard. You created an interesting DOF, being the bails' line perpendicular to the direction on which the field was mowed. The nearest bail is so close that one can appreciate all the details and can "feel" it almost as by touching. The sky, as you wrote, doesn't offer much; the same for the lighting: it doesnt' look like a spectacular sunset light. So, in few words, I think you made the most of what you had! Link to comment
ricardovaste 0 Posted September 23, 2008 Hi Mauro, Thank you so much for the feedback & I am glad you liked the photo. Always nice to see someone take there time to really look over a photo, I will try to return you efforts soon. I completely agree with what you have said. The sky was quite misty where the sun was setting, so although the light was "good", it was not "spectacular", which it really does need to be with shooting at sunset. I am glad you can appreciate what the situation that I Was working with. All the best, Rich Link to comment
