Stormy Gulf

As feeder bands from Hurricane Ike passed over lower Alabama, the Gulf of Mexico was as furious as the storm. This image was taken in Gulf Shores Alabama, and under normal conditions the beach extends about 50 yards from the end of this walk way.

I bet it was thrilling to be there...very cool shot.

good perspective.... it looked very similar over my way.... we surfer girls loved it.... let this be the last of them for the year
