LenMarriott 9 Posted September 20, 2008 Another 'moment of opportunity' seized when I suddenly saw the possibilities unfolding ahead of me. Gotta love those little P&S cameras. I like the graphics here with the diagonals receeding to an unseen vanishing point & my older grandson's bright red shirt acting as a focal point, the red rails of the wagon reenforcing it. Your comments\critiques will be gratefully received. Best, LM. Link to comment
greg mccracken 13 Posted September 26, 2008 Great mood and lines, Len! The leading boy looking back over his shoulder adds the "gesture" that Jay Maisel speaks of. Easier said than done in my opinion! Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted September 26, 2008 Greg, Thanks for dropping in. The 'gesture' was probably more luck than design but I agree that it does elevate this one quite a bit. Incidentally, that was a super interview with Jay Maisel. Thanks again for that. Best, LM. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 27, 2008 Looked like a Norman Rockwell (fortunately, no relation to Ken Rockwell!) painting. Beautiful and tasteful in nature. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted September 27, 2008 Arthur, Thanks for your thoughts. To be compared with Norman Rockwell tends to give one's ego too large a boost. I'm also more than happy to be mentioned in the same sentence as Ken Rockwell. Come to think about it I'm happy simply to be mentioned. :-) Best, LM. Link to comment

ray.koushik 0 Posted September 30, 2008 I like the composition, the narrowing bridge drags one into an unknown world, as it bends into the dark. This lightens the burden on the boy who drags the cart --- they don;t walk, but flow with the bridge. compliments -koushik Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted September 30, 2008 Koushik, Thank you for your thoughts on this one. Nice of you to take the time. Your comments shed new insight that perhaps hadn't been considered before. This is the stuff that makes PN work. Best LM. Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted May 17, 2013 I knew when the scene was unfolding that it would be worth investing at least one frame. (all I had time for before my red shirted grandson turned his head back). Thanks for taking the time & effort to dig through my folders to get to this one & make comment. Best, LM. Link to comment
