Thanks Tiffany, it is as you suggest very difficult getting just the right look...my solution is just keep pushing the button and hope for the best. :-)

....and yes the personality matches her red hair.

Yeah this little girl is gorgeous and you do her proud with the series of shots you've taken ... but these latest couple of shots really bring out her essence like never before. Just marvellous ... keep up the good work ... this is top children's photography IMHO!!!

Both my girls were born redheads...the oldest one change to dirty blond...still beautiful but not red anymore. I'm hoping Livee's always keeps its red tint....yeah you do seem to have redheads too. Thanks for the kind words. Jeff.

Wow, what a stunning little girl. I love this photo -it has personality written all over it. The eye contact is good, and I generally prefer photos where the subject is not smiling - ie. not so posed. I understand you do not do a whole lot of photo editing, but if this one were mine I would have to burn in the catchlights and brighten the eyes just a bit. This is a very good regardless of processing done on it tho.

My favorite. The constrast of the hair with the yellow background is wonderful as is her expression and the motion in the hair. Great interaction with the camera.
