juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted September 23, 2008 Fantastic composition! The warm colors and the layers of light...texture and subject matter hit on all hooves! I have noticed that these wild horse stay very close in pods a lot....? I don't see domestic horses doing that very much...but I am not experienced with horses very much...at this small screen size it would be nice to have a little separation between them...but full size ...I bet it's just fine! was this on a tripod or the old fence post trick? I like it!! juan Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted September 23, 2008 I am shocked Juan that you didn't see what was going on here. It is 2 different shots. The first landscape shot had nothing....except nice light. I liked it but it seems that the only landscape shots of mine that work have something to put into perspective. Hey....what about some horses? Those are the wild ones from Pryor Mountain. I kept them small so you might miss some incriminating detail. So let me ask you...what is the size difference between a JPEG fine and a RAW image? I have reached a new level of frustration and I am ready to stop wallowing. Yes...pod on the landscape...no pod on the horsies. Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted September 23, 2008 Let me defend myself...! This is a very small image on my screen...Pod or no pods...you did a swell job blending the two images together! The answer to your questions depends on the amount of mega pixels your camera has to begin with... That little book called your CAMERA MANUAL That should be sitting right next to your commode ( so you'll read it! ) will tell you exactly what the difference is for your Nick-on....! How about this version of your trickery!! juan Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted September 23, 2008 That was a lot of effort Juan. But due to my highly developed organizational skills...I was able to locate the elusive little critter. What did you do here? Midtones lighten? Remember that I am still on my laptop so subtle enhancments escape me.. Link to comment
