The exotic stereotype

This snake charmer at the Amer (Amber) Fort in Jaipur is clearly

dressed for the benefit of the thousands of tourists who throng regularly

through this destination. Indeed, it appears as if many of the people in

Jaipur are perpetually at a costume party targeted toward the tourist

trade.
