paolo de faveri 1 Posted September 16, 2008 The tiny Isle of Giraglia with its lighthouse and Genovese watch tower stands out at sea in front of the rocky coast of the northern tip of the Cap Corse near to Barcaggio in Corsica, France. This wonderful part of the Corsica coast features countless spots like this, and it is easily accessible thanks to the "sentier du douaniers", a track that links the village of Centuri to Macinaggio via Barcaggio, a path used in the past by the custom officers who surveyed the many small bays of the area. This picture was taken on a late afternoon of mid of September, and it's the result of 3 minutes of exposure obtained thanks to a strong neutral filtration. Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time. Details: Eos 400D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, B+W 110 ND (1000x), GND 8x, tripod. 3 minutes @f16 Link to comment
jsphoto 0 Posted September 16, 2008 Stunning shot Paolo! I think that the long exposure worked magic on this scene. The surreal mood of the clouds and the water is fantastic, and is complimented nicely by the texture and detail in the rocks.I love the fact that I can see detail underwater.Great job all around! wmhoodphoto 0 Posted September 16, 2008 This image is exquisite! The elapsed time creates a surreal atmosphere with the ocean and sky while providing sharp contrast with the details of the rocks and island. One of the best ocean scenes yet on PN. Well done! Link to comment
