Morning light illuminates the sandstone walls of Park Avenue with brooding clouds overhead in Arches National Park.

I made this image last week as an amazing sunrise unfolded in front of

me following a night of rain, thunder and lightning.

This is a very strong image. It really gives me a feeling that I am there in the moment. It might not be as dramatic or as colourful as some other landscape photography (namely: GR or GR-inspired work), but, it feels approachable and completely natural.

 

I like these qualies very much and find this image quite inspiring. However, I wouldn't have picked this as the best of the 30 on display on your website. Although all are among some of the best images of that region I have seen. So, I encourage you post some more that might garner greater interest.

The light is fantastic for this image. The sky and foreground are quite interesting as well. Good shot.

A beautifull shot. But I got puzzled by the bright (and black dot) in the reflection in the water. In my opinion you should have removed it. I did not rate the picture because I would have given it a rating that it does not deserve.

I think this is one of the most amazing and strikingly beautiful images in your portfolio. What black dot?
