cliverapier 0 Posted November 3, 2008 see attached 4 my edited version. Its a good job and an excellent model. But the far right of chair is a bit of a distraction. Having said that, the executive leather chair is important to the picture. The attached version lifts slightly the shadow to the left. crops out part of the chair to the right and brings new edge of chair further to the subject thus re centering the subject closer to center.and a slight trim of the top as well. What do you think? Link to comment
cliverapier 0 Posted November 3, 2008 I forgot to mention a couple of things. I also added slight highlight adjustments to the eyes, lips and bracelete (excuse my spelling). BUT the Original image Really jump out to me as one of your best portraites. The lighting and contrast to my eye are excellent given the dark skin and hair of this beautiful subject. and the choice of the darl leather chair makes this image even more remarkable. Im happy to give the original a 6/6 and a job well done! Cheers Link to comment

mg 0 Posted January 5, 2009 Not sure about her expression - why not, tho... But mostly, I wanted to say that I liked the light here too. Suggestions: careful control of facial skin color again. And perhaps add a bit of black at the top and crop after that for a square format...? Regards. Link to comment
seismiccwave 0 Posted January 6, 2009 Thanks Marc, I did pay attention to the skin tone on this one. This is a tough one because the model is a surfer and she is also dark skin from her ethnicity. I did turn the red up just a little to flatter the skin tone. Link to comment
