Robert, your Jenniffer sure does seem to grow some lovely roses. Very nicely seen and captured by yourself. If it were mine, think would leave the lines and frame off as the image is strong enough to stand on its own. Just my opinion, what you have done also looks good.

Thanks for your comments. As stated in many comments in your portfolio, such words coming from an expert flower photographer as yourself are great compliments. I appreciate the comment about the border as well. I will try this next time. This image above is a different approach in post capture processing, at least different for me. I desaturated and decreased contrast which allows more emphasis on the form and detail. The true color is much deeper red with yellow in the center. And yes, Jennifer's flowers are wonderful subjects and I spend a lot of time in her garden.
