wmhoodphoto 0 Posted September 12, 2008 There is a lot happening in this image. Among the "happenings" are the North American and Pelican nebulae in the upper left. The star, Gamma Cygni and its associated nebula are centered and the wispy supernova remnant known as the Veil Nebula is visible in the lower left. This is a larger version of the image that I posted earlier. Thanks for viewing. Link to comment

tmcleland 0 Posted September 12, 2008 Another hit, William. Beautifully captured. Just out of curiosity, do you use the SBIG for these, or mount another camera to your telescope? Link to comment

wmhoodphoto 0 Posted September 13, 2008 Your kind words are appreciated. TM--for this image, I piggybacked the Mamiya to my C8 and manually guided the exposure. I use my original ST-4 for guiding my Takahashi scope but not for image capture. This is an image of my equipment: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=7435543 Link to comment
