Wonderful landscape. I love the bright foreground against the dark buildings and sky. I would prefer to see one of these buildings - or both, completed in the shot - seeing both ends. Great light. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your kind comment on one of my photos

Thanks All for the kind comments.-Sonia, I do agree with you. It was one of those I had to crop this way due to what was next to the buildings on both sides. The barn on the left had a new shed next to it and the one on the right a newer farm house. Thanks and Cheers-Jim

I almost want to hold my breath when I see scenes like this for fear that any sudden gasp might make the whole thing fall in. I love this shot.

Jim, I too love old barns and things falling apart. I travel all over western NC and find similar scenes all the time. I always have the same thought when I see this- What was the place like when the good times where happening? I like the contrast you have here with the horizontal lines and then the lines of the buildings. Nice composition. Great job! Chris

Nice capture. I really like old barns and old shacks. Those are some nasty looking clouds in the background too. Nice Jim, really nice...RAY

This photo really has character. Love the combinations of textures and lines. The clouds add a great deal to make this an outstanding shot. Thanks for your kind comment and rating. Did you know SA is expanding the Riverwalk down to the Zoo area?

Jim, this is not my favorite picture of yours. leading lines takes you out of the frame (cropped too tight). I have to admit though the complexity of lines is amazing. Barn roofs, fresh cut wheat vertical and horizontal lines and the puffy storm clouds are the frosting. And the lighting is ominous. Keep shooting!
