First off, this is really an outstanding photo. Easily 7/7. I'm not really clear on how you did it. You used a 40D at 1/250 sec with four flashes set at 1/32 power. You are shooting thru glass or your camera is underwater? How are the flashes placed? Again a remarkable photo, especially with the eye so clear.

Despues de cerrar mi comentario se me ha ocurrido ir a ver detalles y veo una puntuacion de 3/3 que ha puesto algun desvergonzado, no estaria mal que diera la cara y ver su galeria, no estaria mal que estas puntuaciones tan bajas siempre se conociera su autor

The photo is absolutely stunning. But, so is the idea that a wild kingfisher is willing to dive into a relatively small aquarium!

This is an astounding image produced through a great deal of effort. Saddly the rating system only goes to 7/7. This certainly requires more than a 7/7 rating. You have surpased perfection. Well done.

Balance of color is as a still arrangement; unbelievable from a spontaneous shoot!!

Crystal sharp highlights bring it all into a work that I expect to see in National geographic magazine next month.

 

I would never guess, because of the cloudiness of the water, this was shot through a model environment. I now can understand the flash captured the bubble highlights, but the rest of the light ,fore and back looks totally natural.
